Pu’uhonua o Honaunau National Historic Park.

The couple is Brian and Aychn. They were married January 24, 2011 at the City of Refuge, Pu’uhonua o Honaunau National Historic Park. The park has beautiful white sand and black lava rock and is about an hour below Kailua-Kona. Their ceremony was just before sunset on the beach. The minister was Dard Aller. The bride’s bouquet was of pink roses and white orchids. Following a short ceremony we did pictures as the sun appeared and gave us a colorful sunset as it sank into the sea. I was thrilled with the pictures! They were such a loving couple and naturals at relaxing and posing ideas.

Larissa and Jesse – Royal Kona Resort

Larissa and Jesse were married January 7, 2011 in Kailua-Kona at the Royal Kona Resort. This day brought a light rain to the ceremony time. The guest had to cover up while the bride and groom were under the gazebo for their ceremony. Following the ceremony we used the cover of the Resort to take pictures. The sun broke through the clouds for about 5 minutes to give a great orange/red glow. We all had a fine time in spite of the rain.

Family and friends gathered around them for the service. Following the service the couple retreated to Liliuokalani Park across from Coconut Island for pictures in the park. Following the park time the couple moved to the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel across the street. There they were served a buffet banquet with their family and guests. Their cake was prepared by the hotel.

As their photographer the high light of their wedding pictures was the images in the park. I hope you enjoy these wedding photos from Hawaii as I truly enjoy being your Hawaii Wedding Photographer.
