Rose & Nils were married December 21, 2010 in Kailua-Kona at the Royal Kona Resort around sunset. The hotel has a beautiful site overlooking the bay facing west. Their sunset photos are outstanding as the sky was ablaze with color. It was one of the most colorful sunsets of the year.

There wedding was December 23, 2010 in Hilo. The ceremony site was the Coconut Island in the Hilo Bay. It was a cloudy day with the possibility of rain. The officiate was Cy Wilson. Family and friends gathered around them for the service. Following the service the couple retreated to Liliuokalani Park across from Coconut Island for pictures in the park. Following the park time the couple moved to the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel across the street. There they were served a buffet banquet with their family and guests. Their cake was prepared by the hotel.
